    1. Pinch Valve TYPE SQV

      Pinch Valve TYPE SQV

Application area The MAHR Pinch Valve TYPE SQV is used as a safety element for the pneumatic filling of silos. Installed in the filling line, it releases the complete pipe cross section during the filling. The thick rubber wall of the diaphragms results in long service lives. The solenoid valve directly attached to the SQV enables short closing and opening times. Mode of operation: During the pneumatic filling, the bulk material is blown through the filling line into the silo using compressed air. The free pipe cross section guarantees high delivery rates and low wear. In the case of a fault, tripping of any safety element, controller failure etc., the SQV is closed from the outside by pressurisation of the diaphragms. The diaphragm in the spherical part of the case is pressurised from the outside with compressed air at least 2 bar higher than the delivery pressure and thus compressed to complete closing. Due to the directly attached solenoid valve, the control air can flow in quickly and reliably close the diaphragms. Material / design: Case: grey cast iron, aluminium Diaphragms: Rubber Control air connection: G 1/4 inch Technical data: Operating pressure: 4 bar Control pressure: approx. 1.8-2.0 bar higher than the respective operating pressure, max. 6 bar Connection flange: DIN 2576, PN 10 alternatively inner thread 3" or 4" Advantages: operationally reliable economic low wear short closing times

    2. Pinch valve with control head

      Pinch valve with control head

Accessories for pinch valves: KVT pinch valves are generally operated with oil- and water-free compressed air. As a rule of thumb, the closing pressure should be approximately 2 bar higher than the medium pressure in the pipeline. Therefore, please install a maintenance unit with oil removal, a strainer, and drainage, as well as a pressure reducer, upstream of the electromagnetically or manually operated valves that control the pinch valve. Position indicators: Position indicators (electrical/optical) can be used to check and provide feedback on the closed position. Do you need help with the wiring of pinch valves? Do you need the control circuit for operating pinch valves? Do you need pneumatic components for the switching? We are happy to help!

    3. Pipe bends and pipe couplings in large radii and diameters

Pipe bends and pipe couplings in large radii and diameters

Large-diameter stainless steel pipe bends from Michel Tube are bent in-house using state-of-the-art CNC mandrel bending machines. All pipe bends exhibit minimal ovality, and the pipe ends are calibrated for quick and easy connection with a pipe connector or coupling. Most Michel Tube stainless steel pipe bends are available from stock and are delivered cleaned and packaged ready for installation. On average, we maintain over 100,000 pipe bends in stock at any given time. Pipe couplings are frequently used in pressure conveying applications. Michel Tube pipe couplings are available in various materials, with galvanized steel being the most common. Standard lengths range from 150 mm to 200 mm. Clamping is achieved using three or four screws. Similar to pipe connectors, a flat gasket provides the seal. It is important to understand that pipe couplings only provide a sealing function for the pipe and cannot withstand pressure surges. We strongly recommend using strain relief for this.

    5. Pipe Repair Kit

      Pipe Repair Kit

It comprises one WEICON Repair Stick Steel, a special repair tape made of fibreglass-reinforced plastic, assembly instructions and a pair of protective gloves. The repair tape is impregnated with a special resin and activated by contact with water. The Pipe Repair Kit can be processed without any additional tools and is used for the reliable and permanent sealing of cracks and leaks. It is very easy and quick to use and shows excellent adhesive properties, high pressure and chemical resistance as well as temperature resistance up to 150°C. Within 30 minutes, the tape is fully cured and hard-wearing. Due to the fabric properties of the tape, the resulting high flexibility and the simple processing, the repair kit is particularly suitable for sealing leaks in bends, T-pieces or in spaces difficult to access. It can be used on many different surfaces such as stainless steel, aluminium, copper, PVC, many plastics, fibreglass, concrete, ceramics and rubber.

    6. Pipe sensor to detect water in very low ppm ranges

Pipe sensor to detect water in very low ppm ranges

Litronic-FMS 3K / RMH12 pipe sensor The Liebherr in situ water content determination Litronic-FMS 3K-RMH12 is used to detect the water content (concentration determination) even in very low ppm ranges in emulsions such as diesel fuel, transmission, hydraulic, engine, roller bearing, transformer and turbine oil as well as in battery systems. The sensors were developed in cooperation with the ISO/TS 16332 standardisation committee for the water separation ability of diesel fuel filters. The installation takes place on test and inspection stands and replaces the previous manual sampling as well as other offline measuring systems. Measurement by the Liebherr sensor system is based on the physical principle of capacitance determination in the high-frequency stray field. In addition to their high precision and robustness, the measuring devices from Bad Schussenried are characterised by their reproducibility. Once the system has been calibrated, further measuring points can be set up or devices renewed on this basis at any time without great effort. The plant thus always remains reliable, regardless of its previous term and age.

    7. Piston Rings and Rider Bands

      Piston Rings and Rider Bands

Piston rings and rider bands are used in horizontal, vertical and v-shaped cylinders. STASSKOL manufactures a wide range of one-piece or multipiece piston rings and rider bands with and without expansion springs as well as pressure-relief grooves. The axial and radial dimensions and the ring gaps are decided for long-life cycle of the piston and rider rings. The basis for the exact calculation is mean piston temperature as well as the coefficient of expansion of used materials.
