NivoBob® NB 4000 - microprocessor controlled measuring system
The challenge was an animal feed plant in Russia, required a reliable, maintenance free and economically priced content measurement for many of their storage silos (raw materials and granular). They were trying several technologies before approaching UWT for a solution. The difficulty in this application surely is the dusty environments as well as aggressive physical properties of some of the materials. The ideal solution from UWT is the NB 4200 electromechanical level measurement system which is well proven in this kind of applications around the globe. The big advantage is the easy operational set up as well as the long life time and the trouble free operation of this instrument. The electromechanical technology is insensitive of the physical material properties and is available in a tape version with an integrated tape cleaner that prevents the dust to enter into the mechanical chamber of the unit. This feature increases the life time of the units as it minimizes wear & tear. Another strong point for this instrument is the economical pricing of the instrument.

NivoCapa® NC 8000 - Continuous level measurement in nearly all applications.
UWT NivoCapa® NC8000 capacitive sensors are used for continuous level measurement in liquid and bulk solids applications. The rod version of the NivoCapa® has a measuring range of up to 5m and in the rope version up to 25m. Its high sensitivity starting at a DK value of 1.5 brings functional reliability and makes it flexible to use in many media. The NC8000 is a 2-wire instrument that combines easy-to-set electronics with field-proven probes. The probe measures the electrical capacity in the process, which is proportional to the level in the tank. The Active Shield technology protects the measurement against malfunctions because of cacking. Even at high process temperatures and pressures, the NC8000 capacitive sensor delivers reliable measurement results.

NivoGuide® NG 3000 Continuous Level Measurement in solids
UWT NivoGuide® radar sensors are used for continuous level measurement in bulk solids applications. The measuring range of up to 75m (246ft) and its high sensitivity from a DK value of 1.5 make it usable in almost all bulk solids. The measuring signal is guided on a rod or rope and is reflected by the medium, received again at the sensor and converted into a level signal. This makes it possible to measure reliably even in narrow and tall containers, regardless of the formation of dust or condensation. The NivoGuide® can also be used in high process pressures and temperatures. A menu-driven quick start wizard makes commissioning easy and safe. • TDR-sensor for level measurement in solids • Automatic probe end tracking makes it suitable for use in almost all solids • High flexibility by shortenable probe length • Measuring range up to 75m • Easy commissioning by quick setup guide • Works in applications with buildup, dust or condensation. • Easy setting and diagnosis with control module and display. • Process temperature up to 200 ° C. • A variety of approvals available. • Rod and rope version. • High chemical resistance of the probe. • High pressure and high temperature versions.

OMC 2500 Online Moisture Control
The OMC 2500 reliably and precisely determines the moisture content or dry matter of bulk materials, suspensions, or pasty substances online. The measurement is non-contact and uses near-infrared (NIR) light. Due to the significantly longer wavelength of NIR compared to visible light (VIS), it penetrates the material more deeply, regardless of its color. The OMC is largely insensitive to irregularities in the material being measured, such as particle size and variations in material thickness.
