This adhesive system is an absolute highlight as the applied solvent is non-flammable but nevertheless trichloroethylene- free.

HERDING BETA - UP TO 160 °C
The patented Herding BETA provides proven Herding technology now for numerous applications in temperature ranges of up to 160°C. Due to the reliable separation, even of finest particles, only a very low residual dust concentration of < 0.5 mg/Am³ remains after filtration. The Herding BETA is a dust Ex zone barrier according to VDI 2263 and has a high chemical and remarkable pH resistance (1-10). Sterilization is possible without any problems. The filter elements are tested at a hundred percent rate and stand out due to the effective product separation on the surface - pure surface filtration with constant operation conditions.

Herding(R) MAXX // the innovative large-scale filter system
The Herding MAXX series offers all the proven benefits of pure surface filtration with Herding sinter-plate filters for use in large volume flows. The large filter units’ upper section can be designed either as a walk-in clean gas compartment or as a simple housing cover with access to the clean gas compartment. The connection to the clean gas duct is possible via a single interface. The jet pulse unit is located outside of the filter unit to make maintenance and revision works of the entire cleaning system possible during operation without shutting down the filtration system. The actual dust particle separation is achieved via the patented Herding® sinter-plate filters by pure surface filtration on a rigid-body basis. Assembly of the filter elements is performed from the clean gas side. The modular concept allows the most effective use of space during transport and delivery, as well as high flexibility in plant construction. Depending on the existing site conditions, the bolted construction concept offers several alternatives from basic components to large, pre-installed assemblies. Due to significantly lower requirements for cranes and scaffolding, installation times are reduced up to 30% compared to conventional filtration systems. The filter units of the FLEX-series are equipped with vertically installed Sinter-Plate Filters. Depending on the requirements, Herding® DELTA, DELTA² or HSL filter elements are being used. Unit safety and performance according to the current ATEX- guidelines are coordinated with the unit operator, if required. Herding® Sinter-Plate Filter PFAS-Free
The Herding® Sinter-Plate Filter is the heart of Herding® filter technology. The rigid base body of the filter elements is made of sintered polyethylene. The effective product separation on the surface - pure surface filtration - is achieved by a filter-active coating. This is homogeneously embedded in the pores of the PE base body and defines its surface. The coating is therefore not a sensitive membrane, but a microporous and hydrophobic coating. The filter element is a PFAS-free version and therefore stands for: - Future-proof: Regulatory conformity with regard to the worldwide and upcoming restrictions or bans on PFAS (per- and polyfluorinated alkyl substances, such as PTFE) - Protection of people and the environment - Sustainability With the help of these technical unique selling points, the robust Herding rigid body filters achieve extremely long guaranteed service lives (avoiding downtimes due to regular compressed air cleaning) and clean gas values well below 0.1 mg/Bm³. Herding® filter technology with the sintered plate filter based on pure surface filtration not only protects people, machines and the environment, but also enables absolutely constant operating conditions and optimal laminar flow conditions. Energy-efficient recirculation operation is therefore also possible with alveolar fine dust.
