Impact element construction: - Energy-absorbing rubber compound (62° Shore A): The specially developed rubber component reliably absorbs the energy of falls and impacts, protecting the conveyor belt from point loads. - UHMWPE top layer (12 mm): The highly lubricious surface made of ultra-high-molecular-weight polyethylene reduces friction, prevents material adhesion, and ensures smooth belt operation. - Vulcanized aluminum profile: The integrated aluminum profile allows for quick, easy, and secure installation of the impact beams in the impact damping station. Thanks to this robust three-component construction, the impact elements offer excellent damping performance, reduce wear, and significantly extend the service life of the conveyor belt and system.

      Impact scales are weighing systems for the continuous quantity measurement of easily flowing bulk materials in vertical process flows. MTS is the manufacturer of the ImpactWeigh impact scales, which have been developed by us and which are available in several sizes for flow rates from 5 up to 600 m³/h. The compact variant IPW S, specially designed for small flow rates from 1 m³/h, extends the product portfolio. The ImpactWeigh is characterised by the newly developed measuring unit, which guarantees a high level of measuring accuracy. The scale has a separate product and measuring chamber as well as large, easy-to-open inspection access flaps. Furthermore, the ImpactWeigh can be equipped with a static testing device for static adjustment of the scale.       The automation level in the food, pharmaceuticals, and chemicals markets is developing rapidly due to the adaptation of new solutions globally. The acceptance is increasing thanks to the obvious benefits of automation, such as improved product hygiene and employee safety. Heightened consumers' expectations and legislative agency regulations also force manufacturers to re-evaluate their processes, but there are still some reasons why they choose not to invest. Currently, manufacturing plants often consist of separate silos of automation where process steps are not entirely connected. One of the main concerns against the adaptation is the organisation's lack of acceptance of new technologies. A high fluctuation rate and the scarcity of trained, competent operators or technicians makes it difficult to take the leap. Therefore, all new equipment introduced must be as user-friendly as possible in order to decrease employee onboarding time and to reduce the possibility of human error. Piab has taken all the above requirements into account when they developed their new product series, called the piFLOW® Batch Volume Optimisation, besides their standard piFLOW® vacuum conveyor range. The Batch Volume Optimisation functionality is easy to maintain, compliant with industry standards, and enhances productivity dramatically. The vacuum conveyor takes solids from a pickup point and releases them into a receiving vessel or a piece of equipment in batches. Batch Volume Optimisation features a level sensor. Once the conveyor is filled up by each cycle, the sensor automatically triggers the release process. This way, operators can set the conveyor up quickly, and the automatic level sensing adds an extra layer of safety, which protects the equipment from unplanned maintenance.

      Indirect Cooling Drums from Allgaier are used for cooling hot and very hot solids from calcining drums and rotary kilns and enable very effective recovery of thermal energy. Many bulk materials such as powdery or granular products must be cooled before further processing. In addition to direct or convective cooling by means of air, indirect cooling offers a very effective alternative due to the possible recovery of thermal energy. The system is particularly suitable for cooling titanium dioxide (type RKT) and calcined gypsum (type KTR). Functionality: With indirect cooling, the hot solid is moved along one side of a separating apparatus wall, while the air cools the wall from the other side and is thus not in direct contact with the bulk material. Due to the high temperature differences, a very effective heat transfer occurs from the hot product through the walls of the cooling tubes into the cooling air. Benefits: - High efficiency: As a result of the heat recovery from the hot solid, there is a short amortization period for the investment. - Minimal process costs: Savings in primary energy and fuel through use of the preheated, dust-free and dry cooler exhaust air; consequently, filter systems for post-treatment of the warm cooler exhaust air are not required. - Robust design: Robust and durable design. - Environmentally friendly: Heat recovery makes a significant contribution to sustainable management and environmental protection; natural resources are conserved.

      Indirect Drying Drums use hot air as a convective drying technique. This enables significant savings in primary energy and fuel by using the preheated, dust-free and dry cooler exhaust air. The reduced oxygen atmosphere makes it particularly suitable for use in drying products containing solvents. Indirect Drying Drums are particularly suitable for non-adherent, easy-flowing and fine-grained bulk materials such as zeolite, gypsum, silicate powder and titanium dioxide. Functionality: In indirect drying, the dampened material is moved on one side of a separating apparatus wall, while the apparatus wall is heated from the other side. Because of the high temperature differences, a very effective heat transfer occurs from the hot apparatus wall into the bulk material, heating and drying it. Benefits: - High efficiency: Low investment costs for exhaust air filters, low electrical energy requirements due to low process air volumes. - High safety: A reduced oxygen atmosphere is possible to avoid product oxidation or to avoid/reduce harmful exhaust gas flows. - Minimal process costs: No filter systems necessary for after-treatment of the warm cooler exhaust air. - Robust design: Robust and long-lasting construction.
