Stationary flow measurement With our measuring system, the flow characteristics in the filter bag are measured, analyzed and assessed. Computational Fluid Dynamics – CFD simulation In conjunction with you, our service team develops the relevant data for a 3D flow simulation that shows the actual status of your cleaning system. Solutions for optimization of cleaning of the filtration system are indicated based on the data analysis.

Flow Control gate, dosing, silo discharge
The Claudius Peters Flow Control Gate is used wherever bulk solids have to be discharged from silos and bins, in a metered and controlled manner. Especially in the cement and building materials industry Claudius Peters Flow Control Gates have been used successfully for many years for various applications as shut-off or dosing aggregate. The Claudius Peters Flow Control Gate in standard design can be supplied with pneumatic actuator drive, servo-motor or as maintenance device with hand lever. The Claudius Peters Flow Control Gate program comprises various functions. Simple open/close functions under silos, positioning functions for material loading processes up to high-precision metering processes at weighing systems can be realized optimally by use of the Claudius Peters Flow Control Gates.

Flow meter for bulk materials - FlowSlide
FlowSlide - precise mass flow meter The FlowSlide measurement system allows you to measure all free-flowing, solids precisely and free of maintenance. The device measures the flow rate of solids in „free fall“ by means of the centrifugal force. This force is directly proportional to the mass. The measuring range of the different FlowSlide sizes starts at 30 kg/h and ends at 300 t/h. In the FlowSlide the product to be measured is guided over a circular slide. This generates a centripetal force, which is directly proportional to the mass flow (kg/h). Due to the specific force transmission, the influence of the frictional forces is cancelled out along the measurement slide. The measurement is largely independent of the product density, grain size and elasticity.

The Stanelle FLOW-BOW elbow is designed as a low wear deflector of dry, non-clotting bulk goods when conveyed as a dense stream. It has a wide range of applications including powdery, splintery, and highly abrasive bulk goods like e.g. quartz sand, shotcrete, and basalt chips; even cocoa husks and slaughterhouse waste. Stainless steel (1.4408) designs are available for applications on the plastics and foodstuffs sectors.

FlowSlide ECO
The new FlowSlide ECO uses the same measuring principle as the high-precision flow measurment System FlowSlide. The FlowSlide has been a core product of Hense Wägetechnik for many years. The FlowSlide ECO is a more economical alternative, for example for the agricultural division. Both the FlowSlide ECO and the FlowSlide are suitable for nearly all flowable and non-sticky bulk materials. Both systems continuously measure the current mass flow in kg/h or t/h and the absolute quantity in kg or t. The System uses the centripetal force to calculate the mass flow therefore the Ssystem is - contrary to e.g. Impact scales - almost not influenced by changes in density or other material characteristics. The housing of the FlowSlide ECO is not made of solid aluminum plates like the FlowSlide but is made of machined mild steel or stainless steel plates. This allows a more economical design and construction with almost identical accuracy. Due to the optional design in stainless steel, the device is in many cases also suitable for the measurement of food. The FlowSlide ECO can be operated with differentamplifiers in order to keep the system flexible and to tailor it to the wishes of the customer.

Fluid bed
Application area: The MAHR fluid bed is the discharge aid for poorly flowing but fluidisable dust and powder bulk materials. As a special design, this bed is also used for homogenisation. Material: Dished bottom: material St. 37 or 1.4301, 1.4541, or disk bottom: 1.4571 Decompaction cloth: plastic fabric (Aeropertex), sintered plastic or sintered metal (sintered bronze or VA) Seal: rubber or Teflon (for high operating temperatures) Design: A dished bottom or disk bottom is used as supporting part for the fluid bed. The bed is connected to the silo using a connection flange. The fluid be is covered over the entire surface with air-permeable Aeropertex fabric, through which the provided air or other gaseous medium (nitrogen, argon, etc.) is fed to the material to be ventilated via a connection nozzle in the ventilation bed. The fabric is also not permeable for finest-grained products. Aeropertex fabric is 100% polyester, does not absorb any moisture and is resistant to weak acids and alkalis. It is resistant to rotting and weathering, wear-resistant and compatible with continuous temperatures up to 160°C and 180 °C for short times. The fabric is self-cleaning due to the air flow. Depending on the size of the bed, the ventilated area is divided into one or more segments. Division and ventilation of the area in segments is particularly very important for homogenisation. Operation: Using an air source (factory network or compressor), dry and oil-free air or gas is fed to the air chamber of the bed via the ventilation nozzles. This air flows through the porous surface of the decompaction covering into the silage medium in the silo or pressure conveyor, fluidises this and makes it flowable. The material does not have the possibility to penetrate through the decompaction covering. The decompacted material flows through the discharge nozzle into the downstream units.

Fluid Bed Dryers/Coolers
The fluid bed system is known to be the most efficient way to cool or dry a wide range bulk materials. Carrier fluid beds are custom designed, engineered and manufactured for efficiency and reliability. Vibration aids in the fluidization and movement of difficult-to-process materials, while preventing hot spots, burnt sides or areas left wet. Fluid bed systems can be separated to dry then cool in a single unit on a very short distance, and can include features like air recirculation, ATEX requirements, access doors for maintenance, PLC, on-line adjustable retention time,...

FLUIDCON, Pneumatic Conveying, low energy
Pneumatic conveying has always been acceptable means for transporting fine materials from one location to the other. From a positive point of view, the initial investment and maintenance costs are typically lower when compared to mechanical conveying systems. However, the energy consumption for the air supply on conventional pneumatic systems is considerably higher than other options power requirements. The Claudius Peters FLUIDCON system utilizes the advantages of typical pneumatic conveying at considerably lower energy requirements. FLUIDCON has the benefits of less power consumption due to the incorporation of the aeroslide transportation principle within the transport pipe. Additionally, it provides a dense phase system with increased bulk material load. Depending on the transport pipe routing, the new Claudius Peters FLUIDCON system can substantially reduce power consumption. FLUIDCON system can be used to convey all fine bulk solids which can be fluidised with low air velocities, and expands homogeneously during the process.

Fluidisation silo
Tamtron fluidisation solutions offer a solution for material transfer based on fluidizing fine bulk material. Fluidization is an energy-efficient method. With expert design and implementation, fluidization equipment enables bulk material to be moved by gravity in a fluid-like manner. Because there are no motors, energy consumption is significantly reduced, and production process efficiency is increased. A small low-pressure air flow is passed through from the bottom of the hose at the material-hose interface, causing the material to flow through the hose at angles of inclination as low as 3-6 degrees.
