      Conveyor discharge weighers CDW

The CDW is a conveyor discharge weigher for recording flow rates from 25 m³/h. Two versions are available. The scale is installed at the discharge point of a belt conveyor and collects the conveyed material in the hopper, where it is weighed. This static weighing achieves a very high measuring accuracy of <+/- 1 %. It is used when conventional built-in belt scales or solid flow meters are not suitable due to low conveying capacity, special material properties or difficult installation situations. The CDW consists of a weighing hopper suspended from three load cells. The hopper is equipped with a pneumatically operated discharge flap. The XL version has two discharge flaps. Use: - Process control - Batch processes Benefits: 1. Durability - Design and robust construction of the conveyor discharge weigher ensure a long duration of life of the scale. 2. Protection for hopper and flap - All highly stressed parts are made of Hardox and increase wear protection. 3. Quick and easy installation - also retrofitted - Installation directly at the discharge point of belt and conveyor systems 4. Low maintenance effort 5. Very good measuring accuracy - In particular in conjunction with the control unit ModWeigh Batch 6. For low flow rates - The conveyor discharge weigher offers an addition to classic built-in belt scales and solid flow meters, when these cannot be used due to the low flow rate or the installation situation.

    2. Conveyor System Series LineDrive

      Conveyor System Series LineDrive

With traditional vibration conveyor systems, the bulk material being moved is “thrown” forward in a parabolic trajectory, which can damage or degrade the product. On the other hand the conveyor system of the series LineDrive uses a pneumatic linear drive that causes material to slide along the conveyor trough. The flow rate can be adapted to the specific properties of the material to be conveyed by controlling the compressed air. For conveyor systems longer than two meters, the trough is supported by the LineDrive carrier. The coupling of several LineDrive drives allows the transfer of larger loads. In addition to our standard versions, the LineDrive series conveyor system can be customized to meet your specific needs.

With the aim of meeting the highest demands, quality and reliability are hallmarks of our plant and mechanical engineering. Our advantage is the years of experience in the production of conveyor technology, which gives us extensive know-how, including very special ones To meet customer requirements. With extensive experience from the mill and compound feed industry, a wide range of machines has been developed that are used today in new areas. But also the many individual productions can be your advantage if it is necessary to offer solution concepts according to your special requirements and to implement them technologically. If these experiences are not sufficient, we have the opportunity to carry out appropriate tests for you in our own technical center with your product. In the manufacture of our machines, we rely on components that have been standardized over many years, thus ensuring cost-effective and efficient production, even according to special customer requirements

    4. Conveyors, pulleys, and steel structures that are made to last.

Conveyors, pulleys, and steel structures that are made to last.

Project Steel is a direct manufacturer of belt conveyors, conveyor pulleys, and steel structures, delivering complete material-handling solutions from concept and component selection through detailed design, fabrication, on-site installation, and ongoing service and upgrades. With an experienced engineering team and a well-equipped machining and fabrication shop, we produce conveyor pulleys in standard and custom configurations (approx. Ø245–Ø1400 mm), including drive, tail/return, and snub/pressure types, with in-pulley or external bearing arrangements. Surface options include rubber lagging (various patterns), ceramic lagging, polyurethane lagging with duty-matched Shore hardness, or bare shells, supported by blasting and coating to project requirements. Beyond pulleys, we supply complete conveyors (including mobile units), support structures, platforms, transfer chutes, and guards, as well as process steelwork such as silos and tanks. Our engineering approach covers torque and power checks, shaft sizing and deflection control, shell thickness and stress verification, belt speed and wrap optimisation, and duty-based selection for abrasion, dust, humidity, and temperature—optionally including ATEX conformity where applicable. We provide practical, engineering-driven documentation and quality assurance, including material certificates (EN 10204), WPS/WPQR where required, balancing reports, dimensional inspections, and FAT protocols, plus installation/operation notes on request. Our competences are backed by ISO 9001:2015, ISO 45001:2018, ISO 3834-2:2021 and relevant industry standards for manufacturing and machine safety.
