      HECHT Technologie´s Liner-Filling-Head LBK-EC "Easy Connect" (patent-pending) enables a defined, safe filling of FIBC´s and liners with a logical operating sequence in just a few steps up to a Containment level of OEB 4 (OEL 1-10 μg/m³). Tailored to your filling processes and requirements, the system allows easy, ergonomic and above all a safe filling of powders. This protects the operator, environment and product from contamination. The LBK-EC is characterized by a high level of work safety and simple operation during filling. This relieves the operators and ensures greater safety and convenience. Operating errors are nearly eliminated, and handling has been improved once again. Mostly consumables such as O-rings are not required. In addition, a considerably faster FIBC and liner change is possible. The operation is uncomplicated due to a control system with the Connecting, Sealing and Disconnecting functions.

At the slightest swaying to one side, the rollers, which are positioned at the centre of gravity, tip and turn and guide the belt through the friction effect of its chevron-shaped rubber strips back to the centre. Asymmetrical belt loads, sideways overflow and damage to the edge belt selvage or the rubber seal at the sides are reliably avoided.       The LiquiCore™ high-temperature screw heat exchanger enables precise and efficient thermal treatment of bulk materials in the temperature range from around 230 °C to 600 °C. The system opens up applications such as pyrolysis, calcination, high-temperature drying, and thermal activation of solids, thereby significantly expanding the possibilities of conventional screw heat exchangers. In terms of design, LiquiCore™ is different from conventional systems in terms of a newly developed screw shaft, which contains electrical heating elements embedded in a hermetically sealed core of low-melting metal. Once this metal is liquefied, it takes over heat distribution and, due to its very high thermal conductivity, ensures fast, even, and efficient heat transfer over the entire shaft length. Optionally, the trough jacket can also be electrically heated to increase the heat capacity. Since the system is fully electric, there is no need for heat transfer fluids such as thermal oil or the associated infrastructure of heaters, pumps, and pipework. This reduces system complexity and maintenance requirements, as there are no leaks or fluid age effects. At the same time, electric operation enables precise temperature control and fast response times. The design is customized to each individual process requirement. The system uses heat-resistant stainless steels and special alloys, process-optimized screw geometries, and integrated control and regulation technology. This ensures safe, reproducible, and homogeneous high-temperature process control. LiquiCore™ thus offers a compact, robust, and powerful solution for demanding thermal processes in the chemical industry, recycling, raw material processing, and specialized high-temperature applications.

The live bottom slats are hydraulically driven in a staggered arrangement. The moving floor system is suitable for bulk material intake and discharge in underground bunkers and elevated silo installations with a storage capacity of up to 5,000 m³. With a discharge capacity of up to 600 m³/h per discharge screw, it ensures efficient and uniform material flow. The systems are specifically designed for rectangular silos with base dimensions of up to 20,000 mm × 20,000 mm, offering a high degree of flexibility in design and integration.       SPIRAC’s live‑bottom silos and hopper systems are designed for the reliable storage, transfer and discharge of non–free‑flowing materials. They are ideal for sticky, cohesive or high‑moisture materials that typically cause bridging, ratholing or blockages. While based on standard design principles, each system can be customised in size, layout and orientation to suit specific site requirements. These silos are usually top‑loaded via shaftless spiral conveyors and discharged using large‑diameter, large‑pitch shaftless screws. Operating at low RPM, these spirals create a true live‑bottom effect that ensures continuous, controlled flow across the full silo width. This design eliminates bottlenecks and maintains consistent movement, even with severely cohesive materials. The preferred geometry is rectangular, enabling multiple screws to work efficiently across the floor. A tapered floor is used to support the live‑bottom mechanism; while this reduces storage volume, it makes the system highly effective for small to medium capacities where dependable flow matters more than maximum volume. Live‑bottom silos offer excellent bridging control, low energy use and a low maintenance profile with no hydraulics. They are a cost‑effective solution for smaller installations where sticky material behaviour makes flow assurance essential. Typical handled materials include sludge cake, cohesive industrial sludges and difficult solids prone to ratholing.
