The simultaneous determination of these two factors makes this mass flow measurement independent from variable product properties (density, grain size, humidity, friction properties) or process conditions (pressure, velocity, temperature…). Once the system is calibrated in the process it is not necessary to recalibrate it since it guarantees a very good repeatability of the results. DYNArad operates contact-free and does not have any moving parts. In this way the possible wear is reduced to a minimum. For the concentration measurement we are using instruments of our long-term partner Berthold Technologies in Bad Wildbad.

It is not necessary to take samples for this, because the measurement takes place directly in the process and in real time. If the adjustable limit values are exceeded or undershot, an alarm can be triggered via two relays. The grain size distribution is displayed using the DYNAsize Visual software and can also optionally be output via an RS485 interface. The bulk material falls through the sensor pipe for measurement. A representative partial flow is continuously fed to an optical measuring system and measured. The optics are protected by scratch-resistant borosilicate glass and contamination is prevented by purge air. The DYNAsize is unique in its kind and was developed in cooperation with CeMOS respectively the Hochschule Mannheim - University of Applied Sciences.

The measurement system consists out of the sensor, the measurement electronics and the communication unit DYNAcon. A digital connecting cable with a maximum length of 1000 metres offers a high degree of noise resistance and very little wiring effort, when several measuring points have to be installed, because it allows up to ten systems to be connected on one line. Instead of using the communication unit, adjustments and back-up of parameters can very comfortably also be made with the software DYNA Pro Visual using a laptop computer. In that case the velocity signal can also be output directly from the sensor.

To counteract this risk, it is important to ensure that the tank truck does not have the capacity to accumulate static electricity. The most practical and comprehensive way of achieving this is to make sure that the tank truck is at earth potential, especially before the transfer process starts.

WEICON Easy-Mix PE-PP 45 is a two-component construction adhesive on the basis of methyl acrylate. It is in particular suitable for structural, high-strength bonding of Iow energy plastics like PE, PP and TPE.

RK-7000 can be used to bond numerous materials such as plastics, metals and ceramics to themselves and among. It is particularly convenient for structural bondings if high-strength connections are required. The adhesive is very viscous and is therefore suitable also for applications on vertical surfaces. WEICON Easy-Mix S 50 yellow is a highly reactive casting compound, which can also be used as an adhesive due to its high adhesive strength and fast cure. The epoxy resin system is viscous, self-levelling and cures fast and with high impact resistance. The casting compound shows high adhesive strength and a short pot life of 4-5 minutes. The compound adheres well to many different surfaces, such as metal, plastics, fibreglass-reinforced plastics, wood, glass, ceramic and stone. The casting compound can be used in electrical engineering for protecting electronic components, semiconductors and building components. It protects components against moisture, dust and dirt as well as mechanical stresses. Easy-Mix S 50 yellow is suitable for applications in many different areas, such as grouting works in electrical engineering and the electronics industry, for casting cable connections, for applications in the insulating technology, in metal construction, in tank and apparatus construction, in fittings and in ventilating and air-conditioning systems. Due to its distinctive yellow colour, Easy-Mix S 50 yellow facilitates visual control. The casting compound is processed with the user-friendly Easy-Mix system.

The EasyMounts are characterised by small dimensions and excellent technical properties. They can therefore be mounted in a variety of ways. The sensor can simply be glued to the desired position or attached with one of our EasyMount holders. With the integrated EasyTeach function, the sensitivity as well as the switching distance can be adjusted almost by itself. There are two ways of doing this: either the EasyTeachbyMagnet is used by means of magnets or the EasyTeachbyWire by means of a cable. The easy and quick completion of both variant settings allows you to focus on your core competence. EGV HYP successfully passed the cleanability tests conducted by the commission of the EHEDG (European Hygienic Engineering & Design Group) and confirmed its suitability for CiP cleaning. The EGV HYP can be adapted to the radius of the container avoiding unwanted dead spaces and making it ideal for use with cylindrical tanks. If the product is to be used in outdoor areas, a closed cell silicon cushion insulation is available to prevent the build up of deposits that may occur when the temperature drops below the dew point. Insulation also minimises temperature and energy losses. These features of the hygienic design of the EGV HYP improve product quality and also protect processes against contamination and production standstills.
