      i-Level (+) | capacitive level measurement systems

Our i-Level level probe is suitable for a very large measurement volume. The measurement takes place between the probe and the container wall, with the metal container wall forming the counter electrode for the measurement. In our i-Level+ variant is also suitable for large measurement volumes. With it, the 3rd electrode is integrated into the probe and therefore allows the use in a plastic container. The measurement takes place in the immediate vicinity of the probe. Our rod probes with integrated evaluation electronics are based on our patented 3-electrode measuring principle. Between the measuring electrode in electrode in the probe and the metallic vessel wall (or additional electrode). the measurement takes place. The measuring field is limited by inactive areas upwards and downwards. A defined empty adjustment can be without having to fill the vessel up to the probe or to fill up the or even to know the filling material. The following versions are available: 1. analog level probe with 2 additional switching points and EasyTeach function 2. analog level probe with EasyTeach by Wire (with or without connection head) 3. limit level probe with 1 switching point and EasyTeach by Wire (with or without connection head) 4. limit level probe with 2 switching points and EasyTeach by Wire (with or without connection head). Advantages of the probe: - Analog measuring range freely selectable within the analog measuring range - 2 additional freely placeable limit value switching points within or outside the analog range - With intelligent PNP / NPN detection, normally open or normally closed function programmable - Optional analog outputs with 4...20 mA / 20...4 mA or 0...10 V / 10...0 V - Power supply between 18...30 V DC - EasyTeach function - On request variants with EasyTeach by wire (ETW) or CANBus interface - On request with customer-specific fixed programming: "Mount and Go - Electronic lock - prevents unwanted setting changes

    2. Idler Pulley

      Idler Pulley

Idler Pulley For the special requirements of your belt conveyor system, we manufacture for you idler pulleys, carrying idlers, throbbing drums, lift pulleys with or without internally located cone. With diameters up to max. 1,000 mm and lengths up to max. 4,500 mm, these are suitable for all types of belt conveyor system. All pulleys are turned cylindrically or spherically. The axle connections can be delivered in alternative designs: with internal bearings, welded, with wedged connections or with clamping set shaft connections. Special designs such as stainless steel and/or friction linings (ceramic, rubber) and accessories (pedestal bearings) can be delivered upon request.

    3. IE-GuardFlex - Distributed Hazard Monitoring Solution (DHMS)

IE-GuardFlex - Distributed Hazard Monitoring Solution (DHMS)

The IE-GuardFlex is the central control unit for 4B’s Distributed Hazard Monitoring Solution (DHMS). Using industrial Ethernet, it connects to and monitors multiple machine-mounted sensors via 4B's advanced IE-Nodes. The system supports multiple machines, IE-Nodes, and sensors, interfacing directly with the machine MCC to perform a controlled stop if a hazardous condition is detected. Typically located in the plant MCC and safe area, it connects via CAT6 Ethernet to IE-Nodes in hazardous areas. Common machines include bucket elevators, enclosed and open conveyors, chain conveyors, and roll stands. 4B sensors monitor conditions like belt slip, misalignment, bearing temperature, vibration, and blocked chutes. Engineers can start node searches using the intuitive 7” touchscreen GUI. Found nodes can be configured, and sensors allocated to machines. The system supports 3-stage ALARM/STOP configurations per sensor, with output relays for ALARM and/or STOP conditions per sensor or machine. Common ALARM and STOP relays indicate alarm or stop conditions on any sensor.

    4. IE-NODE - Remote Sensor Monitoring for PLC's & Automation Systems

IE-NODE - Remote Sensor Monitoring for PLC's & Automation Systems

The Industrial Ethernet Node (IE-NODE) is a remote monitoring interface designed to provide sensor data to PLC’s or other automation and control systems. The units can be expanded to 16 sensor inputs with the installation of optional expansion boards. The IE-NODE operates by reading its sensor inputs and sending processed data when requested by another system (e.g. PLC). The units are equipped with an RJ45 Ethernet socket and supports PROFINET, EtherNet/IP and Modbus TCP/IP protocols for easy integration with Siemens, Allen-Bradley Rockwell, Modicon and other PLC’s or automation devices. The IE-NODE’s network configurator software provides a visual view of all devices on the network. It allows for easy identification of each unit on the network and allows for network settings to be changed as needed.

    5. Impact bars

      Impact bars

The impact bars consist of three high-quality, perfectly matched components, permanently and securely bonded together using a hot vulcanization process. This composite system ensures maximum stability, high energy absorption, and a long service life in demanding conveyor applications. Impact element construction: - Energy-absorbing rubber compound (62° Shore A): The specially developed rubber component reliably absorbs the energy of falls and impacts, protecting the conveyor belt from point loads. - UHMWPE top layer (12 mm): The highly lubricious surface made of ultra-high-molecular-weight polyethylene reduces friction, prevents material adhesion, and ensures smooth belt operation. - Vulcanized aluminum profile: The integrated aluminum profile allows for quick, easy, and secure installation of the impact beams in the impact damping station. Thanks to this robust three-component construction, the impact elements offer excellent damping performance, reduce wear, and significantly extend the service life of the conveyor belt and system.

    6. Impact scales ImpactWeigh

      Impact scales ImpactWeigh

Impact scales are weighing systems for the continuous quantity measurement of easily flowing bulk materials in vertical process flows. MTS is the manufacturer of the ImpactWeigh impact scales, which have been developed by us and which are available in several sizes for flow rates from 5 up to 600 m³/h. The compact variant IPW S, specially designed for small flow rates from 1 m³/h, extends the product portfolio. The ImpactWeigh is characterised by the newly developed measuring unit, which guarantees a high level of measuring accuracy. The scale has a separate product and measuring chamber as well as large, easy-to-open inspection access flaps. Furthermore, the ImpactWeigh can be equipped with a static testing device for static adjustment of the scale. Use: - Recording in-process material flows - Inventory control - Optimization of truck and wagon pre-loading Benefits: 1. Durability - Design and robust workmanship of the ImpactWeigh ensures a long duration of life of the scale (no moving parts). 2. Protection for impact plate - Special coatings (made of special plastics, ceramics and others) increase wear protection of the impact plate and its gliding properties. 3. Fast and easy installation - Due to its simple structural design and compact dimensions, the ImpactWeigh can be easily integrated into the process route and is also easy to install. 4. Safety - The separation of the product area and the measuring chamber offers special protection for the weighing mechanism and also enables use in Dust Ex Zones. 5. Good accessibility - One particular advantage is the divided measuring chamber, which can also be opened during operation, which makes access to the weighing mechanism easier and enables use in confined space conditions. This saves time and effort during repair and service work. 6. Low maintenance effort 7. Good price-performance ratio 8. Good measuring accuracy – in particular in conjunction with the ModWeigh PPW control units.
