      BARL double-flap valves are usually installed underneath filters or cyclones as discharge elements or within ductings as air locks. The bulk material must be metered to the double-flap valve because it is not suitable for operation in flooded feed condition. When open, the entire inside diameter of the valve opening can be utilised without hindrance. The cleaning covers integrated as a standard feature ensure quick and easy cleaning. The double-flap valves are naturally also available in both pressure-shock-proofs!

    3. Double shuttle valves

      Double shuttle valves are used to feed and discharge predosed bulk goods (fine and coarse granulates) and are for example applied under filters, cyclones and conveying units. The two flaps of a double flap system open and close in turns so that both flaps are never open at the same time. The SCHRAGE double shuttle valve is a solid welded steel construction, actuated by a pneumatic cylinder or shaft-mounted geared motor. Its end positions are monitored by proximity switches. Flange pattern bores are drilled according to SCHRAGE factory standard or customer specifications. The double shuttle valve is available in almost all materials and comes with inlet/outlet widths from NW 200x200 to NW 1000x1000.

      Application: The drive unit is the main subassembly of the belt conveyor with a belt width of 1000 mm. The drive version consists of two drive units rated at 2 × 90 kW with cylindrical gearboxes (ratio 1:19). The drive pulleys (⌀ 630) are supported on one side by the gearboxes via gear couplings and on the other side by bearing supports mounted to the side walls of the drive housing. The subframe allows bracing and anchoring to ensure stable installation at the mounting site.
