Modular Pipework Systems from JACOB
JACOB is no.1 for modular pipework systems. Conveying pipe systems for bulk goods handling and dust extraction as well as ventilation plants for environmental change to applications are the all within the large scope for JACOB pipe systems (Ø 60-1600 mm or alternative specifications as a special requirement, wall-thicknesses from 1 mm up to 3 mm, material: powder coated, hot-dip galvanised as well as stainless steel). In addition to our modular mass products we provide customized solutions for our customers. Modular Silos
Our modular silos are manufactured with the highest precision and quality and are ideally suited for the storage of dry bulk materials. The square frame design ensures maximum space utilization and provides greater volume within the same footprint. The modular construction guarantees quick and easy assembly. On-site installation is completed within a very short time and without disrupting ongoing operations. At the same time, the system enables full utilization of previously unused operational space. Thanks to their simple disassembly, the silos can be relocated and reassembled at other sites with ease. The modular silos are available in three versions: M200 with a 2.0 × 2.0 m footprint, M250 with a 2.5 × 2.5 m footprint, and M300 with a 3.0 × 3.0 m footprint. The height is variable for all versions. M200 and M250 can be constructed up to 18 levels, while M300 can be built up to 16 levels. Depending on the configuration, the maximum volume reaches up to 50 m³ (M200), 77 m³ (M250), and 100 m³ (M300). Optional accessories such as access ladders, guardrails, and floor mounting components are available. Depending on customer requirements, the silos are manufactured from stainless steel (1.4301) or hot-dip galvanized steel.

Modular slider TYPE MMFH-H
Application areas: The flat slide valve is used as emergency slide valve at silo and tank outlets to be able to perform maintenance work on downstream discharge elements without emptying the silo. It guarantees optimum sealing when storing bulk materials containing dust or in granulate form up to maximum 4 mm grain size. Mode of operation: The modularly designed slide valve enables the attachment of the various drive types, manual, pneumatic and electric motor drive, for the same base frame. The slider plate has sealed rollers on both sides. The welded plates arranged like a labyrinth and all-round triple packing glands ensure optimum sealing. The packing glands can be easily adjusted from the outside as required. Module Metal Separation
The German based interVIB GmbH is delivering ready to start modules for metal separation. A basic module consists a Vibratory Trough Conveyor type TCV and selectively a magnetic drum type MD or a magnetic overbelt conveyor type MA, including the complete support structure. Each module is designed and built to the specific application and the required space on customer’s site. The Vibratory Trough Conveyor TCV receives the conveying good from the up-stream equipment, e.g. a shredder, homogenizes the product flow and is spreading the material. This ensures easy separating of the metal pieces from the product stream. The Trough Conveyor can be equipped with bolted in wear plates, if needed furthermore with a rubber lining between the plates and the trough reducing the noise emission. The customer can choose between a magnetic overbelt conveyor MA or a magnetic drum MD, all sub-supplied by notable European manufacturers. Further components can be selected, as there is a height adjustment by mechanical linear motion lifters, to mention only one. The complete module is designed and manufactured at our site in Münster, Germany, and before shipping it passes through a complete final inspection at our in house test field.

ModuSilo - stainless steel container
With its new ModuSilo modular system for material containers, Michel Tube presents a simple, configurable system for material storage. The ModuSilo impresses with its high-quality construction and meticulous workmanship. "The focus is on a high-quality system that can also be customized later for demanding customers and requirements, available in a rectangular design with capacities ranging from 125 L to 1000 L," says Managing Director Patrick Michel. One highlight is an optional colored fill level indicator light that illuminates the interior of the container, while the fill level can be easily seen through the standard viewing window. A newly designed extraction box, compatible with various suction lance options, completes the space-saving product portfolio.

Moisture and mass flow measurement in the bulk industry
In several industries, it is essential to know the throughput and moisture content of the extracted materials during extraction and processing. With the help of a bulk flow measurement, the conveying capacity or solids mass can be determined. This enables, among other things, optimum utilization of storage capacities and compliance with delivery and production quantities. Moisture also plays an important role as it affects not only the quality but also the handling of the product. With the combined measurement solution of radiometry and microwave technology Berthold makes it possible to determine in real time the throughput as well as the product moisture precisely and contact-free. Thanks to the measurement principle and the patented stabilization methods, the measurements remain completely unaffected by external influences such as dust, vibrations, fluctuations in belt tension, temperature, aging, or external radiation. Example: Gravimetric measuring systems, such as load cells, can result in costs of up to 40,000 €/day caused by inaccuracies due to their measuring principle. Using our system solution, you can expect a measurement accuracy of ±0.5 (single standard deviation). This means that the investment will pay for itself in a very short time.
